Footprints Safaris operates largely in the malaria-free Eastern Cape Province of South Africa, and has hunting concessions in the other South African provinces for specific species not found in its home province. Currently four lodges are available to you, each situated on a ranch with a number of available trophies, depending on your requirements. We minimise travel to hunting areas so that you spend more time actually hunting!!
Each lodge has unique features to make your stay more comfortable yet affordable, and your hunt can be split between them as you choose.
Our hunting areas are fairly hilly and have open areas and well bushed sections, so a fair level of health and suitable dark coloured clothing is recommended. Over 30 species are available to you on these areas, although some of the animals will require 6 months advance notice so that we can arrange the necessary permits ( for species such as blue duiker, bontebuck, oribi, black wildebeest).
