Medbury / La Boma
This is one hunting area with two lodges on it. Medbury is for the more budget-conscious hunter, giving you a reduced day fee by $30/day. The La Boma lodge has private bathrooms with spectacular views over a dam (earth impoundment) where game comes down to drink at sunset. When full the dam allows sunset cruises and bass fishing.
The hunting area is geared for both bow and rifle, and a maximum of 3 hunters is permitted only. Ten species of game are on the farm itself. Speciality game here is nyala, waterbuck, kudu, mountain reedbuck, bontebuck, blesbuck (on a nearby area), impala and grey duiker. This property is just over an hour northeast from Port Elizabeth, near Grahamstown.
